Every now and then, people will put up for auction the OE wheels that came with their cars for a very decent price. which is a nice alternative for those of us who lack substantial funding for such an effective yet almost purely aesthetic venture.
So, if you know of any other wheels that'll fit, please add, and i'll put on the list.. and if you have pics... i'll add 'em in.. i'm trying to find them as we speak. Note: some wheels may have offsets that will not be compatible with certain lowered vehicles. Mitsubish OZ Rally Lancer 15" Nissan Sentra SE-R (some modification needed as center holes are 1mm too small) 17" Honda Accord 4 Lug 15" (38 mm offset could cause rubbing problems) Acura CL 4 Lug (38 mm offset could cause rubbing problems) 16" Infiniti G20 (i think 16") Hyundai Sonata (before 2005) 16" Kia Magentis 16" (i think this is the Optima or equivalent?) Kia Spectra5 16" Honda Prelude (not sure of size...) -------------------- Oh no, I'm so sorry... the correct answer is The Moops.
The packaging clearly stated '100'. I'm short ONE luft balloon. |

I can't find the second CL rims ANYWHERE.. i used to really want those.. but right now it looks like i 'might' get the SE-R rims.. i need new tires.. why not buy rims with tires instead right? same price just about.. lol -------------------- Oh no, I'm so sorry... the correct answer is The Moops.

QUOTE (Cite 3 @ Sep 29 2006, 10:38 AM) Yeah, I guess that's true but rule #1 is any external mod must not have another car maker's emblem on it. Heck I got bashed enough just for contemplating putting a Tuscani emblem on lol. -------------------- |

MAgentis=Optima, same as the Sonata but they do fit.
There is also the 7-spoke 15's from the 99-01 Sonatas. -------------------- Founding Member of the Indiana Chapter of the Teeny Weeny Club for Secure Adult Males

Any Accord and Acura CL 4 lug rims do not have the correct offset as they are in the high 30s mm. I think they are around 38 mm and they will stick out too far.
Nissan SE-R rims have a smaller center bore and will not sit flush on disk brakes. I don't believe in enlarging the bore as it may cause stress fractures if done incorrectly. -------------------- 05 Tidal Wave GLS 5 spd

Correct Telly, All CL and Accord rims suffer from the 38mm offset. They will be OK for non-lowered cars if you dial in all the camber that the stock suspension allows.

thats why i put the note up
wait.. i thought that 38 mm offset meant they could rub on the inside.. not the fender? -------------------- Oh no, I'm so sorry... the correct answer is The Moops.

38 mm would put them closer to the fender. Over 46 mm (stock) would put them closer to the strut, assuming 6" wide rim. The strut issue would either be the lower spring perch (tire too tall and wide) or the rim could actually touch the upper stud on the endlink where it attaches to the strut.
