ElantraClub - For Elantra Owners and Enthusiasts _ The Forte Forum _ My Forte passed it's checkup

I've needed a wheel alignment for quite some time but I just haven't been into doing anything for the car (or doing anything really) since Tammy passed away.

I finally made an appointment at a local Kia dealer for that to be done. This was a different dealer than the last one I went to. The other dealer does some "shady" stuff in their service department. You know the type of shop I mean... You go in for say, an oil change, and after about a half hour the service adviser walks over to you with a list of extra things you should have done. Like a $300 transmission fluid change, for example. Or, you need new brake pads. "Yeah, sure I will do that... but uh, sir... I only have 10,000 miles on the car"! Yeah, one of those kind of places.

So with trepidation, I walked into the dealership this morning for my oil change, rotation and alignment. I also had a minor recall to do on a brake light relay switch. I was pleasantly suprised when they told me my car was in great shape and the battery, fluid levels, tires, brakes etc. looked great.

I will be going back to that dealer. smile.gif I see why they get 4.8 stars out of 5 on Google reviews.
