Wife recently picked up a 2012 Elantra GLS with a manual transmission, silver, and pretty clean in and out. We are both very impressed with the craftsmanship of the vehicle as a whole, the mileage, engine, transmission, and handling.

There are some scuffs on it; rear bumper has some paint missing, standard poorly kept paint (swirls, scratches), front seat minor tear, but for a vehicle with 81,000 miles on the odometer it's in great condition. Bought with the steel wheels, but found some new 2015 wheels with the Hankook Optimo tires on them for $500 (with TPMS fully mounted and balanced, approximately 5 miles on them). Steel of a deal!

I doubt there's going to be much performance oriented modifying, mostly visual. Plans are to get the bumper reconditioned (maybe swap to Limited rear bumper and get exhaust done), bring it to a detail shop and have the paint gone through with sealant at the end, short shifter, intake, projector headlight swap, maybe a tasteful front lip kit.

But then again, not my car. Either or, it's still great!
