Hello guys,

Could please someone with an elantra make some measurements of the (nerve) A distance and B distance as shown in the picture?

Elantra has a nerve on the red marked point and I need to know how long it measures since we don't have elantra in Greece.

I am interesting in ordering some moldings for my car and I need to know those measurements in order to see if moldings stated to fit in elantra sedan could fit to mine to.So give me some numbers please!

Welcome to the club. Hopefully someone with a newer elantra can get some measurements for you.

Hey-I will try to stop at the dealer today and take the two measurements. I thought about doing a similar thing on my 13 GT but had someone paint that crease (similar to the sedan) with two very narrow "pin stripes".

I believe the pic in the original post belongs to EC member silvergls.

Keep in mind this is measured from the door bottoms, not the "crease".

Hey that is my car. I was the guinea pig for these moldings. This is the measurements I used, which I created on my own. No instructions for the MD model as I was their first.

Hey-I wasn't able to get to the dealer before they closed & didn't want to be on the lot and rattle any security measures. If I'm not mistaken you want to know the length of the crease on each door. That's my impression of your question.

Yes only you my friend understood what I want...the crease thing only,as I show on the picture where the red line is(red line is on the crease).Sorry for not being correct on my description, probably of my bad english or bad diagram emb2.gif
So I would like to know the length of the red line A and the length of the red line B on the crease...

red line = crease
crease length edge to edge
The length of each door's crease=?

Hey-Measurement A: from the joint in the fender/rocker panel to the back edge of the front door, along the crease, it's 42"
B: from the front edge of the rear door to the rear edge of that door, along the crease, it's 25 1/2"
hope that helps.

Thank you very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! eclubrocks.gif

So are those measurements from a sedan?Because if it so,then those are pretty much alike to the hatchback's.
And I'm saying that because this seller ( moldings ) wrote me back that those don't fit to a hatchback.
(probably he has no picture of the real think)
But according to the measurments provided, they do...
