I sold my elantra awhile back and would like to cut ties with EC. How would I do this?

The admit is the only one that can do that. But why do you want to leave? There are a number of people that don't have elantra's but still contribute on a daily basis.

Or you just stop loggin in. I've never understood the whole "delete me" crap.

On a side not, many many many members no longer own elantra's but we still hang around. That's what makes it a "club" rather than a forum. Obviously that's not what your'e after so bye.

And you happen to be one of them. Lol.

... cut ties with EC

This "delete my account because I don't own an Elantra anymore" thing is a head scratcher as Bob stated. A member joins here, makes posts and becomes part of the community. Those posts are part of the community.

Are you embarrassed to admit you owned an Elantra. laugh.gif

Like Bob said, just stop visiting if you desire.

I have never understood this either. I have been on many forums that I no longer go to and have never asked to be deleted, I just stopped going.
I have had one or two that I tried to go back to after a few years and found I had apparently been deleted though.

Oh, I am also Elantra-less (as is the site admin and may others).

What i find sad is that most of the top posters no longer own an Elantra. They still show up every day and post.

If it helps, I have to go fix one tomorrow. Just because I don't own one doesn't meant they aren't in my extended network.

Well, what was supposed to be a simple alternator belt change ended up being an alternator and belt swap. Alt had locked up and bunrt the belt. I remembered just how much I hated that job halfwayIf
