We'll I don't think I have post any photos of the new tractor (shes Diesel)
Bought it back in Feb 2013 and haven't really been too active on here. When looking for a wagon I wan't a Diesel in manual (of course!) and grey in colour. At the time this was the only one In the country for sale with low K's so it was a plane trip to NSW and drove her the 930Km home - She didn't break down so that was a plus! - What Impressed me instantly was the torque and the fact that I would fill her up for $80.00 and get 1000+ Km out of a tank. I later realised that even in city traffic she still manages just under 1000km. Diesel has been a great investment, Maintenance is reasonably low with the only major service item being the fuel filter that needs to be changed more frequently than a petrol car. Since having her I haven't done all that much to it. I have changed a few things: - SLX / Trophy grey 16" alloys w/ Yokohama C-Drive rubber - Installed the 2011 model factory headunit that has Bluetooth integration - I find aftermarket head units aren't as seemless as the factory unit. - K&N Panel filter - Rear factory cargo liner. Given that the only model that has a manual transmission was the base model... I practically have less features than my XD Elantra. - No cruise, no multi function trip computer, no fog lights, no side airbags. My next project is to get steering wheel audio controls works and the factory cruise control. - given the diesel uses drive by wire, it's supposed to not require too much extra equipment - lets see how that goes. As you can see in the photo's we also have a brand spankin new GD i30 elite in a 6spd 1.6 CRDi I've decided the Elantra will be going up for sale. - with the money I want a jet ski!!!

The wheels match the car very well.

Thanks! Im pretty happy with the color! it's amazing how much easier it is to look after compared to my black XD. The paint on the FD seems really good and the sheet metal doesn't dent anywhere near as easy as the XD.
I love the turbo, torque is fun ... it can climb and tow so easily! -------------------- 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Active 2.2 CRDi 6spd Auto, Ocean View 2014 Hyundai i30 elite , 1.6 CRDi, 6spd 5dr Hatch, Dazzling Blue 2009 Hyundai i30cw SX 1.6 CRDi 5spd 4dr Wagon, Hyper Silver 2007 Hyundai Getz S 1.4 DOHC 5spd 5dr Hatch, Blue 2005 Hyundai Elantra elit, 2.0HVT 5spd, 4dr Sedan, Ebony Black 1998 Hyundai Excel GX, 1.5 DOHC, 5spd, 3dr Hatch, Red |
