-------------------- "Dusting is a good example of the futility of trying to put things right. As soon as you dust, the fact of your next dusting has already been established."
"I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death." "Weather forecast for tonight: dark." |

Pwned is actually an old hacker term. It is pronounced (sp?) Owned.
When a hacker has full control of a system, they own it. The reason it is spelled pwned is due to the fact that the O and the P are right next to each other, these are two of the most mistyped letters due to the fact that they are "reached" for when typing. Eventually it became common practice to spell it with a P. Oh yeah, you mentioned XD in the list but I didnt see XD2....... (Hows that for my first post on this site!) -------------------- Been there, dont that....Reformatted! (Twice)

Right. You'll also see it referred to as an XD1. That went from 2001-2003. The XD2 model was from 2004-2006.

QUOTE (Cite 3 @ Aug 23 2005, 10:12 AM) ROTFLOL. That is great. However what is SOL? Another abbreviation defined is: I/H/E = Intake, headers, and exhaust. -------------------- QUOTE (Veloster.org) - MTD - "As long TCS is defeatable like in the current Genesis, I dont have a problem with it." - GreyGhost12 "Anything is "defeatable" with a set of snips... Just like a Vasectomy, your troops are instantly "defeated" with a quick snip. ;-)" QUOTE (Rob @ Feb 27 2009, 12:38 PM) The only thing "hardcore" about a Civic is fuel economy! QUOTE (cobas @ Feb 8 2011, 01:30 PM) This car is perfect for the late teen, early 20 something who wants to be 2 fast and 2 furious on a budget. You'll look the part, you just won't be fast but you will sound like you are!" |
