I am in the pan handle area. Crestview to Pensacola, everyday as long as possible. How do I find out what generation any particular year\model Elantra is? I thought I new, but now cannot identify. Thank You. -------------------- A proud member of the club.

What year are you asking about?

Mine is a 2014 Elantra GT. I was just curious where the classifications come from for interchangables. I had also looked at the i30 forums, since that is basically the same model.
I am having a horrible time finding any available ECM tuners or programmers for this model. Seems to be plenty of the low $ 'add a chip' [splice], but no reputable tuners or programmers. Any insight? Thank You. -------------------- A proud member of the club.

there are no tuners available for that model, as far as i know. there may be an "uncle" chip from LAP3/PROSS, but i cannot verify.

Yeah, it seems there is not a lot of performance upgrades for engine or ECM directly. I don't want to mess with a generic for fear of getting it wrong. I really enjoy the car a lot & am beginning to start playing with it. Just beginning basics like CAI, Sway bars, chassis stiffening, etc. Hopefully will be getting a baseline @ the autocross this weekend. If not, I will for sure next up @ Bristol. I signed up for the Phase One school. Should be a blast & will have a good idea what improves & what doesn't. Just trying to research before buying junk.
