EGT - Elantra GT
XD - '01-'03 versions of the Elantra
XD2 - updated version of the XD Elantra ('04-'06)
CAI- Cold Air Intake
BBTB - Big Bore throttle body
SRI - Short Ram Intake
Catback - custom exhaust section from the catalyst to the muffler
MPG - miles per gallon
RPM - revolutions per minute
BHP - brake horsepower
WHP - Wheel horsepower
WTF - What the fluck
MOTM - Member of the month
COTM - Car of the Month
COTY - Car of the Year
LOL - Laugh out loud
ROTFLMAO - Rolling on the floor laughing my ass off!
AT - Auto Trans.
MT - Manual Transmission
LSD - Limited Slip Differential
Tib or Tibby - Tiburon
A/C - Air conditioning
ABS - Anti-lock brakes
TCS - Traction Control system
MAF - Mass air sensor
MAP - Manifold absolute pressure
ICE - In car entertainment
URL - Website address
IMHO - In my humble opinion
NOS - Nitrous Oxide
KDM - Korean domestic market
CEL - Check engine light
ft/lbs. - usually a measurement of torque
ECU - Electronic control unit
BTW - by the way

OEM- original equipment manufacturer
FWD - front wheel drive
DOHC - dual overhead cam
DIY - Do it yourself
FWIW = for what it's worth
ETACS = electronic time and alarm control system
TPS = throttle position sensor
TSB = technical service bulletin
WOT = wide open throttle
PSI = pounds per square inch
OMG = oh my god
DOA = dead on arrival
HU = head unit (deck)
EGR = exhaust gas recirculation
HID = high intensity discharge
DOT = department of transportation
BRB = be right back (when chatting)
HVAC = heating/ventilation/air conditioning
EBD = electronic brake distribution
cc = cubic centimeters
cap = capacitor, usually in reference to high power amp setups
coax = coaxially mounted (in reference to speakers: tweeter, woofer share same same axis, mounted as one unit)

AFAIK - As far as I know
MD - Korean version of the 2011+ Avante (Elantra)
