Alex and Swee - I will get in touch with Michael. Carlisle is huge and something I just found out about because I never remember dates. Hotels are booking fast and demand will just drive up the cost.

You guys should definitely consider coming to the Pittsburgh meet - I was the cheerleader for it last year and being the first ever meet - it was awesome. I'm sure if we get enough interest and demand, we could even all get together for the entire weekend rather than just for the one day. I have nothing but praise for all who joined in with us. It was a total blast and so nice to meet everyone.

Let me see if things have been planned/set yet. Otherwise I will keep everyone updated - would love to have you all join

Kate whenever I've attended car meets with like cars/nutcases, we totally rocked a few days and not just one, especially if it was an annual thing and so far away. It made it worth it for those that had to travel some distances.

Just booked my hotel for the weekend for Carlisle! If anyone else is planning on going, speak up! I'm pretty pumped for this...just a month before the Pittsburgh meet and I've never been to Carlisle I've officially become a car lady

Where and for how long did you book your room. Also if you don't mind, what was your cost?

A few friends and I booked the Park Inn in Mechanicsburg (about a 10 minute drive away from the fairgrounds) for $96 a night - did both Friday and Saturday night. I decided to do that only for the sole reason it is a farther drive for me than I would like to just attempt after only one day. Plus this is good business for getting interest in the PGH meet as well! Are you still thinking of trying to come up for that, Swee?

Well - my car is 99.9% stock and I'm attending so you're fine first of all. Secondly, there is a group of us from western PA going together as "Hyundai Motor Club" and we have all registered to be a part of the show (whether it be non-judged or judged) and are currently int he top 5 registered clubs currently. We would more than welcome you to attend with us and be a part of the Hyundai community. We would love to have you be a part of the group, if interested - Message me if you want any details or info!

Otherwise if you are looking for a long drive over to Pittsburgh, we are having a Hyundai Meet in June which you are also welcome to join in!

I will have to register here in a few weeks. I loved the show the last time and interested to see how it is for this scene. Going to Pitt might be a reach for me, Carlisle is about 2hrs from me. I will have to come down early Saturday as I will have my son that weekend. So won't be able to booze with ya'll at the hotel.

I used to go to this show early 2000's. It gets pretty crazy there, even in the hotel rooms. This show used to get a bad rap from the few lemons of the bunch. I haven't been there in5+ years, but if more members show up, I might go.
