As of today, our members have donated a total of $2,473 since December 2007. That turns out to be about $750 per year. Suprisingly, that amount came from only 57 different members total, meaning only about 18 members a year donate through our donation system. However, those ultra generous 18 members a year have been able to help me with about 50% of the club's expenses and I'm truly grateful for that. Imagine, if more than a handful of member would donate.

Soon I'll be showcasing our Hall of Fame donators (Top 15) on the forums front page. This is strictly money donated through the system. For example, some members have gifted VIP Memberships for other members but that is not included in these donations stats. And since we started way back in 2002 those old time donations are not included. It also has nothing to do with VIP Membership payments.

Just when you think no one cares... this happens.

I got a PM from club moderator Vampyrate regarding a donation he sent via our Donation Tracker. I just about had to pinch myself to see he donated $150!!! I obviously am grateful for the help because it is needed, but... I'm also a little embarrassed. I mean someone who clearly isn't rich donating an amount like that? Wow. That's unbelievable, but it also drives home the point we have tons of other members who've never even donated a penny.

The bottom line here is that Aaron did something beyond incredible. The donation will definitely go a long way... not only in helping pay the club bills but in making me realize there are people that think EC is a pretty good resource and community.
