I have a new 2014 Elantra GT and I need to get the oil filter off. Am I correct in thinking that the correct wrench for an OEM Hyundai oil filter would be 80mm with 15 flutes? Thanks.
Welcome to the Club! Unfortunately, my car is 11 years too old for me to be able to answer that question. Hopefully you'll be able to get the filter loose by hand, or if not a strap wrench would do the job.
Usually you can just un tighten the oil filter by hand or use a sand paper to give that extra bit. Worst come to worst use this.
