I don't like chrome and somehow did not realize the chorme bits when i looked at the car at the dealer.
After 2 years of living with it I finally took actions

I'm now debatting if I should get another vynil wrap for the section between lower grill and upper grill to get something that looks like previous generations VW GTI

I did a mock up of the two chrome struts in the grill of my '13 GT with black electrical tape and it transformed the look for the better.
