Quick question about the clutch. In my '02, the "grab point" was like halfway or so and in the '05, it seems like you almost have to let it all the way out before it grabs. Is this normal? It's hard to get used to it and since it's kinda loud (stock exhaust), when I pull out, it sounds like I'm riding the clutch.

Those cars tend to let out a bit high. I don't think I'd worry about it until the clutch starts slipping. You can do the slave cylinder "valvectomy" mod, which makes clutch engagement feel much better.

Good to hear. It's definitely taking some getting used to. Definitely the highest point of any clutch I've ever used, that's for sure. I'll check into that mod. Thanks so much!

Update: Got the brakes/rotors from a local shop and got my uncle to put 'em on. Brakes are fixed. Now, I still have a "shimmy" at low speeds and at about 45 and above. I always had that, but we thought it was related to the brakes. My uncle thinks it's the tires and what a perfect opportunity to buy a set of wheels. cool.gif

Thinking about just staying with 15's, as there are some horrible roads around here and bigger wheels and lower profiles would be a bad combination 'round here. Been looking at Tire Rack and Wheelmax. Anywhere else I should check? Would like to get a wheel/tire package.

After that, gotta get an exhaust/intake. Had a SuperTurbo on the old GT, but I want louder this time. Any recommendations?

Nice wheels! Looks tougher with the 16's and the rims are cool. I wanted to do something like that to the GT but it was always a money issue for me.

Looking good. Color matches very nice. Need to lower it now.

Thanks! Won't be lowering it, though. Wish I could, but the roads around here are awful.

What are drag wheels? I've never heard that term, I don't believe.

I have more pics:

The car is dirty in these pics. It's gonna look a lot nicer with a good cleaning.

Those are some pretty sweet rims. They remind me a little bit of Panasports. Much too big, though (pretty sure they only made those in 13", for Formula Fords and other similar, really small cars). biggrin.gif

Im lowered 2in with crappy roads and snow. Dont have to big of a issue. 1.5 in Drop would be fine. Drag is a brand of wheels. Chris had a set on his gls.
