Hello everyone,

If you were not able to get the truck info, your only option is to see if your insurance will cover it (it just depends on your policy).
Otherwise it is either live with it or pay out of pocket.

Man that sucks... I had a wheel nut hit my windshield once... Only noticed it when I was at home that it was cracked.

Man, look what it did to your license plate!

All kidding aside, that really sucks. It really pisses me off when trucks have crap flying out of the back of them. Hopefully your insurance will be able to take care of it for you. If not, you can go buy the little touch up paint pen and fill in the divots. It won't look like new, but it will at least blend it in more, and help prevent rust from forming.

ive contacted the city, send them photos and detailed info see what they can do and I bought the touchup pen from Hyundai this morning.. started working on it during my break at work.. wont be perfect but at least I want paint sitting where there is not.

i'll wait for the city and see what they can do, if nothing I will get a hold of my insurance company and see what can be done and if any costs are involved or raising of premiums

not to sure, i'll have to check and see if there the deductible would be as I forget.. but even if the deductible is $500 or $1000, not worth repairing the hood through insurance

but i will investigate

LOL what is the "city" going to do? This is what comprehensive insurance is for.

Good luck trying to get anyone to respond. Get some touch up paint and be done with it.
Was driving a rental car down the freeway. A baseball size rock rolled off the dump truck ahead. It bounced once and was on it's way back down when it smacked dead center in the windshield. Thought for sure it was going through but it actually bounced and left a divot in the glass. Hertz sent me a $750 bill. I called the CU that issued credit card and told them to take care of it. Never heard from them (Hertz) again.
