I just had my car in for an oil change at the dealer today and when doing so i inquired about installation cost for lowering springs and such when the weather turns nice. I was told it is their policy not to install aftermarket parts so i will be looking for a shop to do the work.

With that being said i am calling on the Canadian members, particularly those that can recommend a shop in the gta, that offers good work at a fair price where i could get some suspension work done.

Thanks in advance for your help!

There's a shop in the Pickering area (I know, it's on the other side of town from where you are) that just does suspension stuff. Can't remember its name as the last time I brought my lowered Integra GSR there was almost a decade ago. What I recall is they are just outside of the perimeter fence of the Pickering nuclear power plant. Maybe you can Google shops in the area. What I find interesting about this shop is that they're the only ones I've found who can (or was willing to) do an alignment job on a modified suspension. Canadian Tire, Active Green+Ross and the other shops said their machines can't do that since their machines are calibrated for standard settings (or these shops will just pull a fast one and say "done" without showing you the before and after print-out. Yeah, I've seen that before).

Given that a there's a lot of modified iron in the Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa area (most of which are from ex-GM or curretn GM-Oshawa staff - I've seen a couple of hot rods in their shop owned by GM staff) I think these guys know what they're doing.

Will be keeping an eye on this, as I may be in the market some time.
