I know i'm new on here. And I really have no say, but does anybody know about any upcoming meets in the GTA? Or if there is nothing.. Why don't we get active and set one up! Only reason I'm posting is because from reading the forums, the last one was a year ago, and I missed one last month. -.- What do you guys say?

There is a pig roast in Mi in summer that's a great time. Sarge is from your area, he drove in last year. Drove 8 hours last year.

Indeed. The next edition of the Borgman Family Pig Roast hasn't been set yet (there was a conflict on the original tentative date with my 20 year high school reunion), but I will definitely be posting information on it once it's been settled. Look for either late July or early-mid August. There's cold beer, hot roast pig, and live music featuring http://www.lagerhaus5.com. Onsite camping is available as well. Stay tuned.

For the summer time, Michigan isn't too bad for me! I'd most likely attend that, I wouldn't mind. And beer sounds good

And (in your case) it'd be a half-barrel of a domestic. Our "session beer" is always Labatt Blue. Not quite the same as what they serve south of the Detroit River, but still very good.

I'd be good with getting one together - something simple.
Saturdays right now are best for me since my wife works through the day. There are more members in the GTA popping up now, so might actually be doable. As far as organizing things - I've got no idea about what's "allowed" to be done... and we'd need to get a lot that would accept a bunch of cars showing up. But I'd be willing to give it a go. Say plan something for April?

There used to be the TorontoHyundaiClub around, but the guy folded the forum and I don't know where all the members hang out. HyundaiSundai was a great event the 2 years I went.

I've got the roast in my calendar again for this year; so as long as plans don't change we should drive down together.

I'd also be up for meeting for a burger/beer some night if others want to. Used to do that with the local Fiero guys, was a good time.

We are planning on having a large meet again this coming summer in Pittsburgh,PA (probably around June again). Not sure where in Ontario you are

Sarge: That sounds good! and with regards to the Hyundai Sundai, when is that? And as for just hangin out getting a few beers that sounds awesome! even if we planned it in Decemeber when Brad would be around, even better haha. Let me know what your plans will be.

Brad: Where abouts in Ontario are you coming?

Kate: Thats kind of a far drive for me, i'd love to attend haha. We'll see how it goes

I have family just about everywhere in ON. I moved from Toronto about 3 years ago now, and this will be my first time coming home for an actual vacation.

I did setup a meet about a month ago in Woodbridge, members from the Hyundai forum. I forgot to post it up here, at the time I wasn't very active member. It was a small meet of 3 Elantras and 3 Velosters

Pic was taken before the third V showed up.

I would like to setup a monthly meet, because there's quite a few of us E owners in the GTA.

I think I was planning on going to that - but was likely out of town or something with the wife's family. What year is the furthest white car, the bumper is different.

So lets aim on getting together when Brad is around for sure.

Think they aimed for the 3rd Sundai in August; though don't believe the Hyundai Sundai is going on anymore, since the THC guys ran that. One year was at the Markham HQ, and the one after was down near Hutches on the beach outside of Hamilton area. I've got some pics up here from the events, think the last one was 2010?

For burger/beer I'm good Monday and Friday evenings. Saturday days are usually also good. Those are mainly the times my wife is working, so I'm "free"

The furthest white E is a 2012, the owner added a different fog light setup which makes the front bumper look different.

Here's a better pic of the guy's car, notice the headlights are different as well. He made them himself.

When Brad comes in, we definitely will setup a meet!!

if "we" (lol) hooked up with the Hyundai Forum guys, it would be a good sizeable meet. Me getting down wouldn't be on the regular because of work. With the work I do, I normally work weekends, but we'll see how things go come spring.

I'm trying to find the thread on the H-F.com forum, they were setting up an Elantra meet at Woodbine racetrack. Let me see if i can dig it up and i'll post the link here.
