Well after what has felt like an extremely long process, I have finally bought my new car. With a combination of my cars value, the long term saving I've been doing, and my exciting internship this summer, I have earned enough money to buy the car of my dreams =]. A 2011 Hyundai Genesis with 38k miles!

Now I had been searching for months for my next car. I knew I wanted to go into performance and have always loved the GC's, but wasn't sure if I would find one in an affordable range that seemed reliable. I had one I was interested in for a while but the guy bailed out on me. Then I switched to looking at a 2010 Mazdaspeed 3. But the kid who owned it couldn't get his act together and the whole thing seemed kinda shady.

Then this GC popped up. She was only on the market for 2 days before I bought her haha. Comes with the tech package so full nav, push to start, and a sunroof. I am absolutely in love. Now to start sellin my Elantra! If you know of anyone interested, let me know! Here are the ads:

And a few pics of the car next to the Elantra!

Congrats man! Definitely, the right time to get into a fun sports coupe before the kids come rolling along. I also think you made by far the right decision in not getting that jacked up truck a while back and holding out for the right car to come along. I'd say this was definitely the right car! Wish I was still in the area as I'd definitely be up for a get together to check it out. Maybe next time I'm up in Philly I'll see if you're around! thumbsup.gif

Hahaha great memory! Yea that thing was a piece of crap... Looked at the carfax recently, it's traded 2 more hands in the past year.

But yea figured I should go sporty when I can! Would love to show her off if you're ever around the area!

Hahah actually if I got a tune it would be SFR. They're literally 20 minutes down the road from me it's crazy.

Yea I love mine so much already. It's a 2.0t but it's the premium package so it has push to start, stock nav, and a sunroof. I'm a huge fan.

Hahahaha very true. You all know I found my ways to mod the HD with whatever resources I could find hahah. The GC should be much easier (though probably more expensive) to mod. Sad thing is, after 2 days of ownership I've already done my first mod hahaha.

The 6000k HID's I had in my Elantra have been transferred over to the genesis. Really hard to get a good picture of em but they make the car look even better. I'm in love blush.gif
