Looking to get new tires for my car. Need a all season tire. But something with good wet dry and snow traction. But not empty my wallet. Have seen a few but figured asking u all would be smart. Seeing as u all have similar vehicals

General Altimax HP ($56 per tire at tirerack for 88H, $65 per tire for 88V).
General Altimax The Generals are on closeout price (a bit cheaper than what I paid for mine last year - ~$75/tire for 88H) Any Michelin (but they cost quite a bit more). -------------------- A proud member of the club.

well i can tell u dunlop sports wear out in six months, and these falken 512s are gone quick...
not many tires that Are good in snow will be great in summer.. especially cheap. if u just want an all around tire, my dad has been buying uniroyal tiger paws for decAdes. nothing speciAl... cheap and do their job. i would get some cheap performance all seasons .. then blizzaks on steelies just for snow months -------------------- Oh no, I'm so sorry... the correct answer is The Moops.
The packaging clearly stated '100'. I'm short ONE luft balloon. |

I had tiger paws on my ranger. Good tires. But mainly wanted to stay under 100$ a piece. Found some performance all seasons. But didn't know if anyone has gotten tires on a car like mine and noticed things. Every car is different. So a lot factors in. Just don't have time yo really sit down and scope tire brands out for hours.
Also. Anyone know how big I can go tire size that will fit the car? Have stock steady rims. -------------------- A proud member of the club.

you have an 05?
i think people have put 205/60 16's on with nonproblem if you do the math its a cm wider and around 646mm +/- diameter but people have run wide 18's without issue are you trying to go wider? or want more sidewall? remember stock wheels are 6" wide so 195 is a perfect tread width for stockers 215 would work well also -------------------- Oh no, I'm so sorry... the correct answer is The Moops.

Can't afford new rims. So was thinking wider tire. Wanted enough sidewall to not worry bout city roads. But have a slight sporty look
