What do you think of your car? Would you buy one again? I know there isn’t a lot to do mod wise but that is not important.

Had 2 issues that were taken care of under warranty, gearbox and steering rack. Aside from this only standard maintenance. All things considered I would buy it again.

Good to hear. Any thing that just bothers you about it? Power, handling, or comfort.

First thing I noticed moving from the XD to the HD is that the seating position is a little higher. Does seem to me to have a little more room inside though. Stock Kumho tires were poor. It would tend to float around on grooved concrete highway. Switching to General Altimax cured that. Power and handling are good, all in all it seems a little stiffer than the stock XD. I would have liked it to have had a 6th overdrive gear for highway driving. Aside from that nothing has really bothered me about it.

I mean I love my HD. It's been a great first car. Awesome gas mileage and no issues besides routine maintenance and something with my brake light switch which was replaced for free. Yea modding isn't all too possible but that's alright. Only thing I don't like is the pick up is super slow. Just no real power to it... But that's about it, nice handling and everything and I've always liked the room it provides

I've had pretty much nothing but goodness out of my '07. I DID have an issue pop up at about 55K miles regarding the speedometer (I believe it's related to the speed sensor overheating or something to that effect) that I took to my dealership to fix. Almost six years later and a gauge cluster and speed sensor replaced and the issue is still there. I've just learned to deal with it. It is a minor annoyance on what has been an otherwise great little car. I've used it, abused it, and it still keeps ticking with almost 160K miles on it now. It sees 650-700 pounds of magazines in the trunk each month (I deliver), and it covers rough backroads and interstate highways alike for my day job. I've already sold two other people into HDs, and they both loved them.

I loved my HD! I only had the fuel gauge sensor go at 66,000 miles but that was covered under my extended warranty. I did have intermittent electrical ground issue but hey it was very intermittent.

BTW: what color is the HD? I still have my HD INCUS grill. I just want it off my hands so I am willing to sell it for very cheap. Private message me if you are interested. Pictures are posted in my HD/MD Items for Sale Thread.
