Interesting video, Mitch... thanks. Sounds like Bernie & Co. might finally be taking some steps in the right direction (minus the KERS thing... if you can't get it done, you can't get it done; man up and deal with it).

I'm a little bit confused with the whole KERS thing... how can they go and restrict something like that to only once a lap?? It's also like putting some electric NOS in there (I think Vampy mentioned that aswell)
pretty interesting video, in terms of video stuff... -------------------- carPC Build Thread | My Elantra Site | My Fiero Site | My WebSite | Donate here to keep ElantraClub online and growing. |

right, but I don't see how that's a good thing in a race, kinda takes away from the whole driver skill aspect if you're getting passed by someone with 'nos'. It'll be more of who can time the kers properly to kick in and give them that boost at the last second to cross the line.

It'll be more of who can time the kers properly to kick in and give them that boost at the last second to cross the line. Bernie & Co. have been listening to the "there's not enough passing, it's just parade laps" argument for a while, and this is supposed to help with the passing. If you can get a run on somebody either coming out of a turn or time it just right before a braking zone, an extra 82 bhp will most likely allow you to zip on by the car in front of you. It only lasts 6.5 seconds, and they can probably restrict the use by tying it in with the transponder on the car for timing & scoring. It should make turn 1 at Indy very interesting... -------------------- |

I like the KERS system and without traction control there are some tracks were it will be of very modest benefit.
Listening to the race on Sunday morning, the majority of teams are using it coming out of corners, not on straightaways. Overall I like the changes, it was nice to see teams besides Ferrari and Mclaren dominating a race. -------------------- A proud member of the club.
