Ok all I have seen this a lot and it happened to me the other day, but not sure what it means. When you are racing someone and they finally end up in front of you and they put their flashers on what does that mean?

They won.

Seriously, I don't know. I prefer the legal types of racing.

Maybe it means there's cops around, or maybe there's a schoolbus ahead, or maybe pedestrians crossing the street at night, or... maybe it means you shouldn't be racing on the street.
ElantraClub does not condone street racing, though we totally encourage you to try out autocross or drag racing at legal events.

From the post, I don't see anything about it being "illegal racing". Carchick78 is simply asking a question and looking for the answer. We shouldn't allude to anything else.

My guess, it means "Later dude/chick", like they won or you lost.

Sure sounds like it though.

Oh, well then you should ask them before the race, or after the race, or ask a track official what it means. wink.gif

Its means the car that is flashing won, and he is off throttle.

Maybe I should have rephrased it because I was not racing. What happened was someone was being a wise a$$ and wanted to get over at the last minute to get on the parkway and I wouldnt let him in because well I just wouldnt and when we got on the parkway he was just riding my tail. Then there was like a runway for cars that are getting on and he decided to get over there and get around me and cut me off and thats when he put his flashers on.

Thank you winc.

Don't ya just love it when they ride your @$$? One neat little feature I like on the 9³ is the rear fog light... Even though it's only on the driver's side, blip it a couple times and it tends to make tail-gaters think you're braking and back off a little.

That probably means he's a d*ck and moron of the year. I would have been pissed. That seemed really useless and runs the chance of killing someone with useless crap like that.
