I still have a ways to go but here it is after two coats of Klasse AIO (I also detailed the tires and black trim):

All you need now is a coat of wax as a topper and the interior done.

What I like to do is detail the molding and rubber after I wax the car.

Colin with the P21S wax I don't have any worries about the trim so that's why I did it this way. My interior is almost done too. thumbsup.gif

The Klasse does a great job on its own. When I detailed my car, I borrowed a garage that does the detailing of cars that the LeMay family owns (because mine was full). I was showing the people there what Klasse can do. They use Meguires products and are sold on that line. I wanted them to see what Klasse compares to Meguires.

....and? The reaction?
---------
Could we have a pic of the car in the sun and not the shadow side of the car.....my filthy Elantra even shines in the shadows- that is just a function of the reflective nature of the dark color. Yes red is considered dark......thanks!

Let's get a nice shot in the sun to see if there are any spiderwebs.........Now we're talking detailing! I know you can do it!

Although these were taken to show off the new fog lights (front and rear), I washed and waxed it earlier that day:

doohickie, how'd you get the access panels off on the rear hatch for the lights? Also, if you see a lowered blacked out xd from cali, you've met me.. =)

Where are you? Didn't you say I-40? That would be Amarillo? DFWHyundais is having a meet April 23; come on by!
---------
As for your question, it's not that hard. The panels come off easily; just use a thin bladed screwdriver and pry them off. To get the full panel off, there are (*thinking*) two screws on the handle; one in the opposite corner; and two that hold the little doohickies that the cords attach to. Then a *lot* of pop fasteners. I will be writing a DIY on my fog light install, including how I wired up my rear fogs. It's not that tough.

The rear deck panels are kind of tricky.. First pry [gently!] the 3rd brake light cover. It snaps in, but also has two heavy-duty velcro strips. the two side peices snap off next, and the bottom peice has to have four or five screws unscrewed first. They ought to be in the cargo-cover strap holders, and under the two hatch handle covers [pop off, then unscrew the screws]. Installation is the reverse order happy.gif

Damn, ya beat me to it Doohickie B)
