Back in November of this year I bought my first car to call my own, I'd driven a good handful of cars; pontiac wave, pontiac sunfire, Honda Accord, Ford Explorer, Ford Focus and a few others. I'll admit that at first I was keen on the feel I had while driving a Pontiac over the rest, that was before I got into the 2010 Elantra GLS Sport. While my standard driving ability was pretty poor at first (I didn't have too many chances to learn) I knew that the car had a great feel compared to the other cars I had previously drove, to make the decision easier the car had a great price tag and pretty decent mileage (32,000 miles)
Now that I've got this beautiful car I want to put some personal touches into it, bare with me as I'm not as knowledgable as I'd like to be. Some things I want to do with it are easier than others but I'm also curious if anyone could suggest some projects that will take up a few levels from stock. Some projects I plan to do when the snow starts to melt include the following. -some interior painting -adding/replacing some interior lighting -replacing the shift knob and boot -upgrading the headlights to some nice HID's Those are just some things I'd like to do, but I'm always looking for something new I could throw onto that list, if anyone has an ideas or anything they've done that would look good, I'd like to hear about it! Thanks for reading this little blurb. -------------------- A proud member of the club.

I myself have come from a generation of Pontiacs. It's a different kind of feel, but they started to lose their edge around the later stages in the company's life and became nothing more than a Chevy clone.
Congrats on the new car, I hope it serves you well. I'm certain other members can help you out with your DIY projects. -------------------- Hopes and dreams, ways and means
