Puzzled a bit by the Theta and Nu mills.
Theta powers the Forte, is 1998cc, 156HP @ 6200, 144TQ @ 4300.
Nu powers the Soul, is 1999cc, 164HP @ 6300, 148TQ @ 4800.

From what I've observed it seems the Nu shows more real world power and MPG. Highway MPG figures for the Forte (sedan Cd=.29) and Soul (Cd=.42 from the only source I could find) are very close.

Allied trannies and final drives would also be nice to know, as well as WFO shift points on the 6-speed autos.

Yes, I don't want much.

Thanks for any help, internet searches have turned up little so far.

Found the answer at Wiki.
Theta is the older, unveiled in August 2004 in SoKo. 2.0 is square at 86mm bore & stroke. The 2.4 is 88mm bore x 97mm stroke. Uses timing chain. CVVT on intake side.

Nu introduced in the 2011 Elantra as a 1.8, with 81mm bore and 87.1mm stroke.
The 2.0 in the 2012 Soul has 81mm bore x 97mm stroke, Dual-Continuous Variable Valve Timing (D-CVVT), and uses a timing chain.
