Right now Hyundai USA has no plans to bring this over but I like this car much more than the GT.

I have a thought. I might start a post (a sort of a petition) and people who want Hyundai to bring this over would post.

Maybe if we get a few hundred replies I could forward this to Hyundai USA. Sound dumb or a good idea?

A great idea, it would be cool if Hyundai listened to us. A poll can't hurt.

If this were available back in November/December and was similarly priced as the Elantra, I would have the i30 rather than the Elantra right now. There are no good hatchbacks/crossovers/etc in that price range that have affordable upgrades.

I would definitely consider this for my wife's next car. She has said she wouldn't want to have the same car I have (not because of the car, but because it would be the same), but this might be different enough for her to consider.
