It is now March, spring and summer will (hopefully) be approaching fast! So I'm curious, anyone have plans for their cars this summer? Having wishful thoughts about what you would like to do? Lets hear them!

Geez, my to do list is far longer than my budget. . . Some things I would like to do this summer include the following:

Wash, wax and clay the car
Remove the vinyl pinstriping
Tint the windows 20% around
Install a K&N Typhoon Intake
Do something with the wheels, either plastidip or something like this

Really not sure what I will actually do. Of course there are many other things that I would love to add, but that would be purely dreaming! laugh.gif

Noo don't do that carbon fiber overlay. Their carbon fiber overlays do not look good I had some before and ended up taking it off (c pillar). Plus I just think those look cheesy. Definitely go plastidip. Get creative with it like I did with my rims!

Thanks, I appreciate the input. I was definitely leaning more towards plastidip, but that pushes me over the hump. I had mixed feelings of how those looked anyways. Did you put your car up on stands and take all wheels off at once? How long does it take to dry? Trying to figure out how long my car would be out of commission.

Two weeks to Spring!

Some things to do:

Good clean and wax.
Buy rims for Summer tires.
Tint windows.

Those are the things that will happen.

What I'd also like to do:

Fit rear hatch spoiler.
Black out some items.
Some side stripes.
Lower car.

Body stuff. Mechanically, the car will be 100% sound after doing the front suspension (have all the parts, just need the time to do it!)... I plan on re-coating the underside to protect against rust, repainting the interior, and some minor exterior body work/painting.

my list, probably wont all be done this summer as my mustang needs to be changed up a bit.

finish nitrous install
dyno nitrous and see what it puts down
poly bushing install(maybe next weekend?)
new clutch & flywheel(due to nitrous)
braided brake line install
fix a pillar panel
replace some body panels with prepainted used parts(got lots o dents)
205/55r15 summer tread tires instead of my 195 A/S tires
replace rear sway endlinks(starting to clunk)
replace front lower control arms due to bushing wear and balljoint wear
install some new seats as mine are moldy and rotten from sunroof leak(corbeau sports look nice for a DD)

I'm going to shoot with the family and, more importantly, go to drive my Elantra to YNP with my family. YNP is the greatest place on Earth. If you haven't been, it's worth the trip.

Yeah they do look good.
Was not my first choice.

Had to clean her again as I rode through a bit of mud when those pictures were taken above.
Took her out for some cleaner pictures:
