Hello everyone! I want to buy coilovers for my 2012 GLS and I have some questions about it! I never have these before and I want to know if it's easy to adjust the height? We have winter here in québec so I need to adjust it 2 times a years! Can I buy only the coilover kit and everything is ok or I need something else like a camber kit or pillow ball mounts? Do I have to realign the wheels after the adjustment is done? Is there something I need to know before I do this mod on my car? Thanks a lot!

P.S.: Sorry for my poor english! I speak french so...

For an area that sees salt and 4 seasons, I would never recomend coilovers. The sleeves siezed, pillowballs freeze up, the bearing plates rust. I have Veloster coilovers on order for the Forte, but they will only be on from April until October where I will swap over to stock. I've seen too many adjustable coilovers that were complete junk in a single winter.

Agreed, get coilovers, but keep your OE suspension so you can swap the pieces and not ruin those expensive coilovers. I don't know how much salt La Belle Province put down on the roads, but here in Ontario they use it like a fat guy would use chocolate syrup on ice cream. Which means they use a lot!

Your English is perfectly fine! Trust me I've seen much worse from English speaking people laugh.gif

The guys above seemed to have answered, but agreed I would hate to see something as expensive as coilovers go to junk in not much time at all. Welcome to the club! happy-wavehello6.gif

Hey now! I use chocolate syrup sparingly on my ice cream!

I had K-Sports on my old Matrix and swapped them out every fall and back on in the spring. It was about a 2 hour job and was done along with the winter wheels change over. They are still like new, I must get around to selling them.
