I guess they just decided to slightly tweak it. Those wheels are great IMO.

Most cool stuff is and will never make it here.

Not sure about the extra protrusion of the headlights, but it's still a pretty fine looking automobile.

Hey-projector headlights, like the current GT has, new taillights, rear diffuser, similar to the current Coupe, with single chrome exhaust finisher built in, and great wheels. The current lights protrude like what's shown on this update, BTW.
Glad Hyundai continues to upgrade their cars.

Change for the sake of change isn't good in Elantra's case. I wanted the hatchback or coupe. After seeing what downgrades of design occurred to the hatchback & coupe, I stayed with the Sedan. Believe the designer of Hyundai's "fluidic" design left the company & Hyundai's present efforts to tweak, are all downhill. Hyundai, trying to keep up with Mazda & Ford, made an abortive attempt in the hatchback & coupe & got a front end "hole in the middle".

You say, "Looks good". But the 2011-13 Elantra is wondrous! As far as the Burnt Orange, Dodge had "Sunburst Orange" years ago, that was delectable.

Pretty bold going with those wheels. Like it overall.

I'm not into the short sloping hood (kinda reminds me of a Prius) I've always preferred longer hoods (no, not 1973 Mustang long, something along the lines of the XD Elantra) they look better imho and there's more work space under the hood. Also not digging the whole wraparound headlights/taillights that most new cars have. Wheels are a bit odd...

Just my opinion. I realize that I'm the odd man out and that like 99% of people consider the MD/UD a sharp looking car, I just don't really care for the look of most new cars.
