I really like it! It would be on my short list if I were shopping in the next year.

Sweet, car. Definitely not the wagon that my Touring is. In retrospect, I think that they (HMA USA) think they struck out with the Touring. We're never going to be totally accepting to a wagon with the crossover market that America has. If they want more volume, then a true hatch is the way to go.

I think that the wagon can succeed here, but the wagons that do well are mid- to full-sized, like the Audi A4 and A6. I've always thought that the Sonata would make more sense in a wagon format.

It kinda reminds me of the Lexus CT:

Here's the new Hyundai for comparison's sake:

I can definitely see where you're coming from, Roy. Then again, a hatchback's more or less going to look like the Mazda, a Saab (which people have accused my XD of looking like from rear 3/4 view) or a Golf unless you go way out there style-wise.

I'm buying a 2012 Touring in about a half hour and now I see this?! Makes me think I should wait a year but I need a car now. I wonder if it's going to lose a lot of storage room with the change? I was looking at a 2007 Kia rondo and I really liked it except I could buy a new Touring for $4,000 more. Now, I'm having a brain cramp on this decision after seeing the i30!!!!

From what I've heard, you will love your Touring. The handling is supposed to be awesome, right?

Once I saw it on the lot this morning, I fell in love again. It's exactly what I need! Brought it home this afternoon and still reading the manual. My husband just starts pushing buttons...What does this do? What's this for? He better not break it!
