> J2/RD Front Sway Bar Bushing Replacement by , 2000J25SP
Options V
For 1996-2000 Elantra, 1997-2001 Tiburon.

Start by Jacking the car up and removing the front tire.

The endlink has to come off of the sway bar. Otherwise you will won't have enough clearance when installing the new bushing.

To remove the endlink, use two 14mm wrenches.

Now remove the two 14mm bolts from the sway bar bracket. Remove the upper and lower bracket. pull the bushing off the bar.

New Bushing on the right.

Install the new bushing. Make sure the tabs on the bushing go in the holes on the bracket.

Repeat on the other side.
