Had some leftover plastidip and decided to experiment with the bumper and imitate a rear diffuser. The rear diffuser is not that clean but the beauty of plastidip is I can peel it off and redo it as many times as I want, and if I don't like the look anymore I could peel it right off. biggrin.gif
Bottom chrome grille was dipped a few weeks ago.

Hey-Great job on the diffuser. If I still had my sedan, I'd do the same. The GT has a small diffuser and I'm good with that.

Nice job! I agree, the great part is if you decide you are tired of the look, peel it off and move on to something else cool.gif

how did you manage to get the curves on the sides of the front done nice?

I'm planning on wrapping my front in vinyl pretty soon and so far, the best thing I can think of using is knifeless tape.

Am starting to have paint peeling on front bumper of '11 Elantra GLS, including the "chrome' grille on one side. Your "dip" thing might be the way to fix it without going to a body shop.
Sounds easy. I like easy. Especially, if it works. Gonna go for a blue color similar to the Indigo Blue Pearl of the car, if I can. The flat black or gray would just stand out too much for me.
I'm wondering if the "dip" will also stop the bug squish damage or will it just do the same thing it does to the paint. Hmmm. Guess I'll have to find out.
Thanks for tip about the platicdip.
