Well everyone, the day is approaching.
I have all the tech details and all the bugs (that I can find) worked out of the design. With all the time it's taken thus far, and the brackets being VERY labor intensive, I wanted to have the brackets made before I announced a group buy. The bars and the anodizing are simple, but I don't have the cash to front for it so this will be a 'group buy'. I just received enough metal for a batch of 10 pairs of brackets, and a new band saw. The brackets will be made in the next 2 weeks. The group buy for "GonzoSport" removable rear strut tower bars will begin Saturday July 7th, 2007.... 07.07.07 More details will be coming soon. Our website isn't ready yet (because I haven't sent Tim any text yet) but...G7 -------------------- A proud member of the club.

QUOTE (ricerrx7 @ Jun 12 2007, 09:06 PM) Not set in stone yet, but solidifying...... Looking like $130 for confirmed V.I.P. ElantraClub Members, $150 for everyone else. Shipping should be <$10. ********** Made of 6063 aluminum with stainless hardware. Each bracket is about 1+hrs labor at drill press, band saw, grinder, sander, and polisher plus some fun elements that must be finished by hand. -------------------- A proud member of the club.

I'm interested, but not right away.... I ended up blowing the mod budget on mere junk when I coulda had a strut bar!
I'll try to scrape it together though, maybe later this summer.... Congrats on the rollout though! This is an exciting time to be an XD hatch driver! -------------------- A proud member of the club.

In taking a page from Mr. Ford's book..... whatever color you want so long as you want black.
If you REALLY have to have a custom color ... the MINIMUM it will cost me PER COLOR is $60 ... and that's a number I was given 6mos ago. -------------------- A proud member of the club.
