Interesting to see. I never realized that the centre stack in the i30 is slightly different than the GT, mainly the air vent positioning. I'm not a fan of all that red either, the stitching alone would probably have been enough. And for power plant, not a huge difference between it and the GT's but it certainly is an improvement over the i30 power plants (1.4 deisel or 1.6 gas).

Hey-The interior shot is the Accent version.

Correct, here is the picture for the i30 interior
I like the red seats a lot

Now if only they would bring the i30cw as the Elantra touring like last generation

I bought my GT 5 weeks ago and have put about 2300 mi. on it. This is my first Hyundai...I have owned BMW, Audi, Corvette, Lotus, VW and quite a few other marques in the past. For the price I'm happy with the GT. I get 31 mpg around town and the ride and handling are good in that environment. Overall pretty impressed. However, I took my first interstate trip with it this past weekend. Did about 300 mi. of highway and 35 mi. of in town driving. I was stunned when I only recorded 32 mpg for the trip. My guess is it had something to do with the anemic engine being unable to pull or accelerate in 6th. It's a manual. I will be downshifting to accelerate in the future. I'm also thinking that a 178 hp motor is not worth trading up for but will test one before making a final judgement. A friend of mine just bought a 2013 Focus ST and got 30 mpg on a trip from ME to CT. Assuming a Focus can hold my bicycles as my GT does...I'd be inclined to buy an ST a couple years from now.

I'd be drooling if a souped up GT came to the states to compete with the Focus ST! biggrin.gif The red seat trim shown at least is tasteful, it's not in your face bright red like some other car companies put in their sporty trimmed cars. I've been reading through a Veloster thread featuring RPW00MIRAGE's own tuned up Veloster. His makes about 160 hp if I read correctly and along with other upgrades he's able to keep up with porsches at autocross meets. That GT model looks like it would be really fun to drive if tuned up after buying it. biggrin.gif
