REMINDER

The L.A. Auto Show is coming this weekend! It is at the Los Angeles Convention Center, November 19-28, including Thanksgiving Day (http://www.laautoshow.com/HoursAdmission.html). Set your GPS to 1201 S. Tickets for Opening Day (Friday) are $8, for November 19-25, they are $10 in advance and $12 at the door, and for November 26-28, they are $12. Children age 12 and under get in free! https://activ.admitoneproducts.com/reserve/advance.php?event_id=397910&instance_id=1!

Parking is $12 at the South and West parking structures (http://www.laautoshow.com/ParkingMap_102410.pdf). This is actually the best parking rate available; additional parking is available at the L.A. Live complex, but be prepared to spend up to $25 there (http://www.lalive.com/parkingguide).

Anyone interested in checking out the L.A. Auto Show with me this Saturday, please speak now, or forever hold your peace. If a bunch of us ride to the show in a couple of cars, it would save on parking, etc. If you live in southern L.A., Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, or San Diego Counties, we could have a "mini-meet" at the Fullerton Park-N-Ride, at the CA-91/I-5 interchange (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=fullerton+park+and+ride&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&oe=&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=Fullerton+Park+and+Ride&gl=us&ei=qDziTIaWA5LEsAPaiaFm&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=image&resnum=1&ved=0CBQQ8gEwAA). The show opens at 9:00am on Saturday, so it would be best to leave for L.A. around 8:00. Other halves are of course welcome!
