Doohickie and atlwteboy240 were working together on the original deal but Doohickie dropped out and I was asked to step in. Hopefully, this new thread will simplify things. My total thanks go out to Doohickie for all his effort in getting this promoted/started and atlwteboy240 for offering to make the decals and handle shipment details. This pre-buy is now closed.

Where the original thread offered many colors, to simplify things, only the "silver" will be offered. This is the closest to the etched-glass look he can do.

The design of the decals is as follows (same as last group buy):

The group buy prices (extremely reasonable) are as follows:

1- 6" decal------$4.00
2- 6" decals-----$7.00
1- 12" decal-----$8.00
2- 12" decal----$15.00

Remember, this deal will only happen if 10 or more members commit to buy.

Ordering details

I'll be handling all the payments via my mittam99@yahoo.com PayPal account.

If you are still committed to purchasing decals you must post in this new thread. The old thread has been closed.

Write down how many decals you want, what size and whether they are normal for outside mounting or reversed for inside mounting.


Once payment all payment are made (after 9/2), contact atlwteboy240 via PM with your mailing address. atlwteboy240 will then make the decals and handle the shipment to you.

I'll keep the first post updated with details on payments and who's committed to buying decals. So far, 16 members have committed to buy. Four have paid in full. Remember, payment must be received before the pre-buy ends (Sept. 2nd)... and that's only a week away. At that point, I'll send the money to atlwteboy240 and the decals will be made... he will handle the shipping details as well. Thanks for showing some club pride everybody.

I have tinted windows. So I think I have it right. I'm trying to picture it in my head now and now I'm confused. I need the 12" to be normal b/c its going on the outside of the back window. Then the 6" is reversed b/c its goin on the windshield. Sounds right?...maybe, lol?

Ok hope this explains it. Tinted windows need decals to be mounted on the outside glass. The font must go normally. Since you have tinted windows you want both decals "normal (outside)".

On the other hand, with inside mounting (for people without tinted glass) the font has to be reversed so it reads properly from the outside. Make sense?

Just a gentle reminder...

This group buy originally was supposed to end way back on July 16! Because of some "issues" Doohickie was/is dealing with he was unable to continue organizing this and I recently took over. I really want to get this done so the members will have their decals. That's why it's important all of you that have committed pay ASAP. That way I can send the money that atlwteboy240 needs in a "lump"and he can send out the decals.

Because this buy has taken forever, I decided to speed things up when I took over. These members need to get their payment in by Sunday or they'll (unfortunately) be dropped from this special group buy price:

No exceptions. Not trying to be a hardass here. It's simply that this thing has dragged on forever... I have other things I need to tend to right now in my life and I simply want these decals to be made and for members to enjoy them.

And here's how the process will work. Once the pre-buy ends, I will contact atlwteboy240 with the names of the members in the group buy and which decals they want. In turn he will contact each member to verify decal details and mailing addresses. He'll be making them and shipping them out. There's a lot of room for error here (wrong size, wrong quantity, wrong direction etc.) and it's important everyone double checks everything. Also, look at the list in the original post in this thread to make sure I've put in your correct decal information.

I have tints...but I also live in Wisconsin and have to scrape my windows in the winter. Will these show up at all if mounted inside? I have 35% tints on the back windows (which is where it will be going.)

I WILL be ordering, I just need this little bit of into before I specify which type.

I've tried to stay away from this thread since I sheepishly backed out, but to be frank, the spotty communication with atlwteboy240 was a contributing factor in my decsion to step away.

I will support however Mitch decides to go forward with this. When I stepped away, Mitch was the last guy I hoped would pick this up; I realize he has even more on his plate than I do. So.... I guess I'm back in, in the sense that I will give Mitch any support I can to get this Group Buy done and make sure EVERYONE is happy with the decals they get.

And I apologize for dragging this out a lot longer than has been necessary.

Now, let's get'r done.

Count me in as well, If he flakes, I do not want a refund either. Why should ONE person take fall, or lose money out of there own pocket, thats not right by any means to me. I know I am new, but as a club, were suppose to be sort of a team, and we should pull together, and if atlwteboy240 doesnt come threw, then lets find someone else. As a matter of fact I might know a few people, that might be interstead.

Ok, the pre-buy phase of the group buy is over.


The next phase is getting atlwteboy240 to make these and send them to members. Unfortunately I haven't heard from him in a while. Hopefully, he will get on the ball on this. To be honest had I known communication with him would be like this minimal, I'd never have jumped in when Doohickie "bailed". I thought it would be a simple matter of getting the money from members, coordinating a new thread on the group buy and then turning over the money to atlwteboy240 and he in turn would make the decals and ship them. However, since he hasn't contacted me much, I don't know where this thing stands right now.

No matter what, rest assured this money is sitting in PayPal and if any refunds are needed all monies will be refunded, no questions asked.

This is the list of members getting the special group buy price. All have pre-paid. I'd like everyone to make sure the details are correct... sizes, font direction etc. (22 members):

I'm want to give atlwteboy240 the benefit of the doubt... he simply may not have been online. However, this is something he offered to members and if I was him I'd be here every day checking on things and making sure I could get the product out. Anything less will leave a kinda negative impression.

I'm trying to be as up front with members as I can be. I want you to get these decals! The next step is up to him. Doohickie has mentioned there may be alternative sources as well so hold tight. Hopefully this all can be resolved and everybody will proudly be showing off their club decals soon.

To atlwteboy240, I ask you this... Contact the above members, get their mailing info. and get the correct product to them in a reasonably short time. Everyone has showed good faith... now it's your turn in this process.
