The date for the 2012 Pig Roast! has been announced. Mark your calendars for July 21st! More information will follow as the date gets much closer, but if you ask Kyle and Steve they'll tell you it was a great time last year despite the weather. Look for it to be on the Club Calendar shortly and feel free to ask me any questions you might have about it. A short rundown would include:

Lots of roast pig
Lots of cold beer
Music by Lagerhaus5, as well as other musical guests

Stay tuned, rock and rollers!

Kyle and I will most likely be attending, from what he has said it sounds pretty fun!

It's not really a matter of "running out of beer," it's "being able to get to the store to buy *more* beer." If we have to make arrangements for more than one keg, I guess so be it. smile.gif

I'm thinking very seriously about this. I've been itching for a long drive in the new car and we always take the other car with the family. This seems like the perfect excuse.

Did I read in last years thread that there's a place to pitch tents for the night?

My friends live on ~1.25 acres, and their backyard is plenty big. There's usually 5-6 people that camp out, and Kyle and Steve did last year as well. There are a few hotels in the area, too, if that's more your speed. Let me know if you need any info.

Just pitch a tent Brian, it will be a blast. I would love to have a few more members show up this year. So are we meeting the burger place again?

If you want, we can ALWAYS meet at Blimpyburger. It's hard to come up with an argument for me to NOT go to Blimpyburger.

Brian, trust us... you NEED to experience all of this.

All y'all within an 8 hour radius of SE Michigan... YOU NEED TO EXPERIENCE THIS. smile.gif git.gif headbang.gif

Well I sure as hell wasn't driving back at 3/4am... the 5hr drive was good enough the next day after getting some sleep and greasy morning food. Though not as rough as Kyle's trip after being up for 24hrs!

W00t - 3 members so far this year!! (yes I'm counting you benman) biggrin.gif

Strippers maybe ? Lol . I'll be driving my updated ride to Oklahoma city , OK in the first weekend in April for my brother's 50th bday . I see I'm only a 7.5 hour drive from buffalo and I have that weekend off . Need another ? I'm a hotel guy though , not much for camping smile.gif
