Has any one PLasti Dip their OEM GT rims? I did my emblems and front chrome piece on my 2013 GT and it looks good just wondering if any one has done their rims and if so how was the turn out?

Hello and welcome!

Not sure if anyone here has dipped their alloys, but if your concern is whether it will work, you don't need to worry, they'll be fine. Have a look at some of these videos to get you started.

Hey man welcome to the club! I have not plasti dipped my wheels yet, but am certainly thinking about it. I am not sure that I have seen anyone plasti dip their wheels on a GT yet, at least not ones with the 17" rims like I have.

Hey-I've considered dipping the chrome inserts and leaving the wheels silver.

Hey-I've considered dipping the chrome inserts and leaving the wheels silver.

Thats what I was originally going to do but i decided to just go all the way. Eventually I'm going to take of the chrome inserts and just have them black, the remove the black and just dip the chrome inserts. It's super easy!!!
