Depending on the efficiency and options available, I might just stick with the EX. That increase in HP would definitely be noticeable from my current EGT. Love those tail-lights.

It's nice but they need to come out with an enthusiast model. (think Speed 3)
Crank the boost up a little, put a real suspension tune on it and maybe an LSD and people will be flocking to that car. Other than that it's just a 5 door Veloster turbo. The turbo Veloster still handles like a N/A Veloster... just with a little more kick. No thanks, I'd buy a used speed 3 or GTI.

You mean like this bad boy that Mitch posted about yesterday?


I don't know what's under the hood, but I'd love to see that with a nice turbo diesel pushing 240+ft/lbs!

And that has been the real issue with Hyundais being taken seriously among enthusiasts. Esp with the pricing being fairly similar now, other makes (esp Mazda) have that sportier pedigree with higher power. I will have my eyes on this one but also the redesign of the Mazda 3 as well. If in the end with all things equal then I will go with the Korean model mainly cause of warranty. But as of right now, the Mazda 3 wins in handling, mileage and power and its price is only a few hundred higher. It just needs to get rid of the "forced" smile.
