Interesting. But the pic is photo-chopped (click on pics to see larger versions). Can't wait to see the actual car.

^^^ Notice the shadow of the side mirror on the A-pillar. vvv

That car looks cool. Are they trying to go after the G35/350Z market there? If so, what would really help the most is to get some aftermarket parts companies on board. I'm not saying that they need to partner up with anyone and offer dealer upgrades, but if someone like Borla or Flowmaster made a bolt-on catback or if K&N made a custom CAI system, it would lend some credibility to the capability of the Hyundai brand in the tuner world. Making these custom flashy one-off show cars is great, but they need some people to see how great a Hyundai can be with some easy bolt-on modifications.

Here's the hi-res version, sure looks chopped to me!

Aftermarket companies are demand driven. Manufacturers can offer support all they want, but if they see no demand, they will not invest millions to manufacture a non-selling product.

I have a sneaky suspicion that the GC will change that. Will it help the cars already out there like the XD? Nope. But future cars will definately benefit.

As reported a few days ago, Hyundai did invite a bunch of car tunning companies to check out the Genesis coupe and take some measurements so they can already start to design and make products for it. Not a bad start this involving the aftermarket before the car's even on sale.

I think it could help some for the older models. All it takes is Hyundai being seen as a legit company for tuners.

But ya this GC is looking very promising
