For the longest time we have all said it cant be done on these cars. Well i think i may have found someone that can do it. Chris pointed me in the direction of a shop that said they can do it. Well after a phone call they said they no longer do it. But he gave me a email and company that still my do it. Well after e mail over the passed week i feel more confident it can be done. Now dont think we are getting big gains from this but something is better than nothing.

So here is what i know as of now, The company is called OE tuning, They do more high end cars like BMW, Audi and other stuff. They are located in L.A., way to far for me. But i could send my ecu in have it flashed and sent back in a few days. Here is the best part they only want $395.00 for a flash tune. He said he cold do custom tunes too. Seems like a good deal. Im really thinking about it.

So anyone in the cali area want to be the first to try it. If so i would like to see dyno prof and thoughts for the tune. This is very good news guys.

This would awesome and I wish we were able to find this out years ago. The only thing I hate about tuning is that you gotta run 91 octane but I guess the performance and usually better fuel economy balances it out.

Depends on your area. All grades of fuel here have e-10.

the sunoco 15 minutes away from me sells E free for the price of diesal sad.gif

IIRC the issue was never the tuning.. even piggy backs were used and Tibby AEM stuff

it was the hardwired programming that eventually over rided the tune

My car might not be big on ethanol, but I like it.

Same here. There are only about 3 gas stations left in the city with e-free gas. sucks....
