So did some modding to the car today. Went good for the most part, stupid dash broke, but a good successful day. I will do a wirte up on how to remove the dash without braking it. It was kinda of a pain in the ass.

First on the list was the bump in the trunk.
alpine type r 12'' in a ported box.
Kenwood 1600 watt mono amp in 1ohm
Infinity kappa 6x9s in the rear deck.
Basically the same system i had in my xd.

HId hi/low headlights 6000k color temp.

More to come!!!!

Just give it time slow lol... hell, I'm thinking of trading in my protege and getting a truck. My first car was a truck and I kind of miss that.

I think the next step is going to be an intake, or springs and struts. Idk yet but it will come all in time.

So i got a few pics of the hids. Had to aim the housing down alot, but omg hids are awesome!!!

nice stereo setup, HIDs look good.
The list for mods is always longer than the $$ allows. I cant help doing or looking/wishing to do stuff to my car.
Good luck

For a DYI air intake just remove the resonator and add some pvc pipe ?

or go with a K&N Apollo Universal Closed Intake System
