Based on what you've said, it doesn't sound like it is something I should attempt to repair myself, right?
I can understand why you might want to fix it yourself; considering the car is less than 2 weeks old, if it were my car - I'd bite the bullet and take it to the dealer - or a well known/REPUTABLE body shop. You want it to remain pristine. If that means shelling out a couple hundred to a body shop - do it. Better than dealing with an insurance claim and the deductibles and then 5 years worth of premium increases just for a new paint job.
