I have a 2011 Elantra Limited with manual heated seats. The thigh support is lousy. I was wondering a couple of things:

1) Will there be better thigh support with the power seat?
2) If so, how can I get a Power drivers seat to replace the current seat?
3) Will the heating system still be available and work?

Any insight and/or help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
J

The problem you may face is the existing wiring harness may not be equipped to support the Power Driver's seat. If you model was designed/built with a manual seat the harness may reflect just that - wiring for only the SRS restraint systems and heated seats. You'd have to verify the wiring first before plunking down the cash for a seat. Also verify the bolt patterns to see if there are any differences in position and layout between the two. I wouldn't expect so, but you never know.

GO try out a power seat car first. You may be surprised to see that there is no more thigh support than you currently have.
