Hey guys, I wanted to customize my wheels a bit. I like the stock wheels, and even if i got with aftermarket rims in the future, id be keeping these for winter. However, i don't really like the plain stock silver. Any diy paint jobs you recommend without having to use a professional coat? Id like a gun metal or black, was wondering if caliper or block spray would work since they're both pretty durable.

I would say most use Plasti Dip to paint their wheels. It is a durable rubberized coating that can also be peeled off without damaging the underlying paint if desired. They have black and you can either leave it flat black or add the glossifier to make it more of a glossy black.
Here is a 4 pack of the black plasti dip which should be enough to do all 4 wheels. You can also use plasti dip on eblems, grills, diffusors, etc. -------------------- Please consider helping keep the club online and independent. Donate here to help the club.

Have you considered painting them to match your car color? Looks cool.

Have you considered painting them to match your car color? Looks cool. That's what I was going to recommend. You cold also do the face body color and the window's a dark gray or black. You could use Plasti Dip ( get close to body color ) and remove it if you don't like it. Painting the wheels permanent ( if you go this rout ) is like any paint work , preparation is the key . -------------------- 2001 Tiburon, auto , daily driver .
