Being as how this the first car I've ever owned that wasn't a complete piece of trash, tinkering and modding is something I hope to do later on.

I've seen some pretty terrible maintained ones lately, including an '02 GT like mine (with a sunroof, the bastard) that parked two down from mine last week and looked like a beat up pile of shite. I definitely don't mind putting some money into this baby to keep it purring well for the next few years.
