Just got back from a Northwest Ohio Region SCCA event in Fostoria OH. I thought I might seem some members from the Columbus area there but again I was the only Korean car in the field. The announcers can't even say Hyundai. They always fumble over the name like, "HI UN DI" or something stupid. But they all know exactly how to say it by the time I leave cuz they are like where did that car come from. He's beating all those Hondas.

It was 94 degrees. Ouch it was hot.

Here's the low down,

I improved my lap time with every lap. That is a first for me. Usually my second lap is my fastest.

I came in second of 6 by 7.5 tenths. Third place was about 4 seconds behind me. I had a great final lap. I think I may have only been able to shave another 2 or 3 tenths off my time so I am very happy to have beat the other 4 cars and given that friggen Rabbit a run for its money. That driver was experienced and had a very nice setup on his car. He was no joke and was seriously worried.

Come on KYB AGX's. I think those will make a world of difference.

Scott,
Man your a driving fiend.. I was looking up the tires you mentioned and they seem very reasonable.. so i will be checking with my local tire store on monday to see if they can get them for me.. also i was looking into the tires you had on in that picture you posted for your modded contest. were thouse the ANSIS tires? They were about 59 bucks a tire at an online vendor and the tred design looks awsome.. I would also be interested in thouse!

One more question and im done.. Im getting Gearcats 15"ADR rims this saturday and want to put tires on them... the stock size is 60 series right? if i went with 205\55\15 would that hurt anything or throw off my spedo? I just was looking for a tire that wont "roll" under heavy cornering.. any info you have would be most helpful!!
