Hyundai is releasing a sportier version of the 2015 i30 hatch in Europe. It features revised styling cues, a 1.6 turbo, new 18" wheels, sportier interior touches and an optional 7 speed automatic.

Here are some pics:

Love the design. And especially the bucket seats. They've become one of my favorite parts of my gen coupe. Too damn bad this car won't come to the US. Any idea on MPG for this sucker?

Interesting for sure. I like that red interior! At least it gives us some ideas of things we can do to ours in the US. biggrin.gif

It's certainly a bold design, very modern and cutting edge. However, I'm not digging the red accents, especially the horizontal strip on the chin and rear diffuser that looks like someone sharpied it on. They look tacky and seem to have been added as an afterthought to me. Interior looks good, but again I say lose the red. You don't have to rely on color to be sporty. Black on black is fine. Car will perform just as well.

What would be awesome would be to keep the red stitching and the shift knob, but lose the red inserts on the side of the seats. That would look awesome.

I do agree that I have mixed feelings on the red strip on the front chin and rear diffuser.
