Hi all,
Cant seem to find any post on club members installing an aftermarket HU double din in the Elantra GT 2013+. I have purchased this dash kit http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_76136_...-95-7357HG.html and was wondering if the 7" HU had enough space or would it stick out too much? Much appreciated. -------------------- A proud member of the club.

Dont think to many people has changed the radio yet. The car is so new i dont think anyone has tried. But by all means go a head and do it. make sure to take lots of pictures.

Dont want to spend hundreds of dollars and find out that there is not enough clearance for the HU -------------------- A proud member of the club.

Just have to figure out how to get the cable to the license plate light for my rear camera -------------------- A proud member of the club.

There is lots of room in the dash so I don't think you'd have any problem with an aftermarket double din installation. There are also a couple companies that sell headunits specific for the Elantra. Compass-nav and Uni-nav both have units for the Elantra. I know someone that took their compass-nav headunit out of their sedan and it fit perfectly in the GT. You can see some info on that unit at the link below.
