Not over yet! Well, points wise it is. . . but I have an event in Ft Wayne this Sunday and in two weeks we have our "Worker Invitational". All in all I'll have run 13 events this year.

OKie dokie. . . . don'thave official results or times BUT. . . preliminary results are 4th of 10 behind two Civic Si's and a Neon coupe R/T. I was .6 behind the neon and 1.8 behind the local Si and my own region Si owner came up to whoop up on everyone. He was 1.8 ahead of the other Si owner.

Great time, REALLY bumpy course. 1st run DNF because lack of sleep and not as much concentration on the walkthrough. . . whoops. Second run was my "1st", 3rd run dropped to a respectable 62.XX, 4th run (best of the day) was a 60.185 and the last two were 61/52's with a few cones. . .

Car turned great, I was getting the nickname as the "3-wheeled Hyundai". . .tires are starting to get REALLY sticky. Looks liek the fronts like to be hot and the fronts only like about 35-36lbs of air and the rears like 38-40.

Good showing Bob! 4th of 10 is quite respectable. Si stands for Silly.

As in "Silly fast"? I did alright. Those guys make me feel warm and fuzzy cause I get compliments. I feel. . . "good" . . . up there. I'm not, but they make me feel that way. Maybe it's a trick to get me to come back? If so it works! I'll be back next year.

Milwaukee Region SCCA Event #8 (October 14th, 2007)
"Last Blast of '07"

Complete Class Results: Here

STS 927, Paul Greif, 2006 Hyundai Elantra Black:
1st Heat: 79.397+dnf, 74.583+dnf, 82.643
3rd Heat: 84.549+dnf, 77.259, 77.249

CLASS: 5th of 6

PAX: 59th of 87

It was raining, and at 87 drivers we had a very small turnout. Most of my competition decided not to show up. So I was up against all Si's and a couple of 2.5 rs's. I did manage to beat one of the Si's which is good news, but again I'm kinda pissed that the 318i, MX-6, and others didn't show. It was a blast anyway. A couple of DNF's because of spinning off course, and one for loosing the course in the rain.

Here is a link to some wet video of my two best runs.
